OUR MISSIONARIES
The church exists to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. One group we need to mention who are giving their all for the Kingdom of God are our foreign missionaries. While most web sites post information that will be of service to those who visit the site, we give this information to you for your involvement.
If you are inclined to pray for these people, we would all be grateful.
Lester and Peggy Seiler have been serving in Kariba, Zimbabwe, Africa for 30 years.
They have raised their children there and call it home. As you may know, this country is plagued by starvation and political oppression. Lester and Peggy travel the main rivers in their boat visiting farmers, pastors and churches. Please visit their page at http://www.the-tabernacle.com/Missions/seiler.htm
Myrna Wilkins has been in South America for 35 years, 17 of those in Colombia and 18 in Venezuela. She teaches at the Assemblies of God Bible College in Barquisimeto and directs the Venezuelan Global University extension program.
Tim and Mary Lou Tiner are our Austrian Ambassadors and have been so for 12 years. Tim preaches an evangelical message each Sunday in the churches where ever he can. He and Mary Lou are also a great gospel singing force and are an encouragement to many.
During the week, Tim trains pastors in church leadership and disciples a small group of men.
Walter and Rosalie Schlichting have been pastoral supporters and encouragers to a large staff of people. They can be found in the Texas headquarters of Mercy Ships International. Occasionally, the ships take them to ports worldwide. |
