We meet to worship our Lord each Sunday at 9:45 AM. Following worship we have fellowship with each other. Several take advantage of the early hour to get out to one of the area restaurants. This affords us time to get to know each other better.
While our church is Non-denominational, we are Congregational in the original sense. Once a year, our congregation meets to make decisions for the coming twelve months. A church Board of eight people is selected to carry out the decisions of the members present in the Annual Meeting. The rest of ministry is as needed during the year.
Currently, we have one third of the church serving in the Army. Half of the soldiers are in serving on foreign soil. We make sure the home needs are met while the family experiences separation.
Children also get a major focus of what we do. Each week while the preaching section of the worship meeting goes on, the children are in their own area for Children’s Church. There they sing, read the Bible, discuss it and have prayer requests for the things that concern them. Vacation Bible School is also an event that occurs each year in early August.
The church also gathers for special times of home fellowship and meals together. Children are always a part of these times as well.
